Was it incorrectly assumed that the elder woman (Mary's mother) was the mother of the five children?
Immigration Note: The fifth child could be a recently born infant (therefore not in the UK baptism records) who could have died during the voyage (if the passenger list was drawn up in England), or soon after arrival, if the list was completed in Adelaide.
