Sharon JOSEPH said they lived near to Mark & Susanna MORCOM at Wheal Prosper - when?
In 1911 Eliza Jane, her daughter and grandson occupyied 4 rooms in one of the 3 large Whitehall houses. Her occupation, dressmaker, also suggests she waspoorer than most of the unrelated MORCOM family who had earlier occupied two of the Whitehall houses.

GENERAL NOTE:
QUESTION. Is it just a coincidence that, at the time of the 1891 census, the widow of Richard MORCOM was living in Whitehall House despite there being no apparent relationship between Richard and Catherine FRANCIS (nee MORCOM) who was living in the same house between 1830 and sometime after 1851?Note: There could have been two (or more) families in the large Whitehall House in 1891. The History of Whitehall House only notes that Jane PEARCE, age 71, widow of Edward PEARCE, with her two daughters and a servant was in the house. Alternatively the term "Whitehall House" may have been used loosely in the 1891 census for the group of three substantial houses which are close together in Whitehall district, each within a few acres of land. This suggests that Jane was either well provided for by Richard or she had inherited some of the fabled "Pascoe Millions".
