GENERAL NOTE:
There seems little doubt that James Dodd MORCOMBE's parents were Richard MORCOMBE and Maria DODD. Why then did James Dodd's son William H MORCOMB believe that his grandparents were James MORCOMBE and Emma DODD. One explanation may be simply forgetfulness.
